Summer Safety Tip 

If the pavement feels hot to the back of your hand for five seconds, it's too hot for your dog's paws. During warmer weather, walk early in the morning or later in the evening, carry plenty of fresh water, and remember that mental enrichment such as scent games, training sessions, and puzzle activities can be just as tiring as a long walk. Sometimes the best summer exercise happens in the shade.
